The insides were downgraded from an Atom x7 to an Atom x5, but still with the very generous 8GB LPDDR RAM onboard and they have now added a Micro SD expansion slot. To make things even more fantastic they also threw in pen support so you can actually use it as a journal when folded in tablet mode. Hence the “borrowed” name of Yoga (a Lenovo trademark). First of all it is now a 2-in-1 device, which means you can flip the screen around 360 degrees to turn it into a tablet, or anything in between like the ‘tent’ setup. ![]() It’s actually exactly the GPD Pocket but with a few enhencments. Fast forward to the end of april this year I saw a news article on about this new One Mix Yoga Pocket laptop going on pre-sale in China. ![]() This time I fell for the One Netbook One Mix Yoga Pocket laptop (that’s quite a mouthfull): a 7 inch convertible micro laptop with pen support!Ībout a year ago a rather similar device, called the GPD Pocket, was succesfully crowdfunded on Indiegogo and I happen to know the senior editor of (Daniel Rubino) has got one. ![]() I’ve got a serious gadgets addiction as some people may know, buying a new smartphone at least once a year, and tempted to do the same with almost any shiny new gadget that makes an appearance.
